Gruve’s deployment of Nexus Dashboard Insights (NDI) helped provide the client with better visibility into their ACI fabrics and assist with Day 2 operations. Nexus Dashboard Install with NDI troubleshoots events in the fabrics with telemetry flow collections, ensures ACI configuration, and monitors inventory for end-of-life notifications. With a small networking team and limited ACI knowledge, NDI was essential to help the client with troubleshooting, alerts on anomalies, and assistance in upgrading their ACI fabrics. Gruve deployed Nexus Dashboard, adding both the primary data center and disaster recovery data center to NDI, and provided a weekly sync-up on reviewing NDI events.
The client is an entertainment and leisure company based in the U.S. sector. The company’s rich history spans nearly one hundred years, and they are committed to delivering premiere dining experiences, attractions, and entertainment to their customers.
The client had difficulty maintaining their networking team’s knowledge of ACI due to staff attrition. This also led to challenges in the efficiency of day-to-day ACI operations, troubleshooting critical issues in the network, and maintaining a healthy ACI fabric. In addition, upgrading the network to the latest “gold” image was crucial for the health of the fabric, and the new features provided important business requirements.
Gruve successfully deployed the physical ND cluster to the latest firmware and deployed NDI to monitor both ACI fabrics. NDI provided assistance and guidance on any issues that may have arisen prior to the firmware upgrade, providing confidence on the upgrade, and also increased the client’s efficiency in dealing with troubleshooting and alerts.
