Solutions Architect
Position Description
Gruve is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to design and implement secure, scalable, and reliable IT systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and best practices, with the ability to align security solutions with business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the organization's technology infrastructure is protected against evolving threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Architecture Development: Develop, document, and maintain security architecture ensuring the alignment with business objectives.
- Strategic Leadership and Planning: Strategic technology leadership and planning in collaboration with leadership with a willingness to learn about evolving cybersecurity threats.
- Cybersecurity Design and Implementation: Cybersecurity design solutions and implementation for on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments including but not limited to zero trust, NAC solution, SASE, cloud security, emerging AI-based security solutions, firewalls SIEM, and XDR
- Research and Innovation: Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity technologies with AI and trends. Evaluate and recommend new technologies that enhance the organization’s security posture.
- SecOps Collaboration: Collaborate with SOC and IT teams to improve threat detection and response capabilities.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Collaboration with Partner with executives, sales, presales, IT teams, and business leaders to align security strategies with business goals.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Lead cross-functional teams and verticals during major projects or security implementations.
- Team mentorship and Development: Guide and mentor security engineers, and other team members in implementing secure solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related IT roles.
- Proven experience designing secure systems and managing large-scale IT infrastructure projects.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, VPNs, and cloud security solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model)
- Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix)
- Knowledge of cryptography and encryption techniques
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, or MITRE ATT&CK.
Preferred Qualification
- CISSP or CCIE Security certification
- Good understanding or EDR and XDR solution
- Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
- Ability to travel occasionally, as required by program activities.
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours to accommodate global project teams and stakeholders.
