Security Solutions Architect

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Security Solutions Architect to join our growing team in Redwood City. This role requires a deep understanding of modern cybersecurity landscapes, including AI security, Network Security, and Cloud Security. The ideal candidate will be a subject-matter expert, able to lead strategic customer discussions, design robust security architectures, and deliver solutions that secure enterprises against emerging threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Lead customer-facing conversations and solution design workshops, providing expert guidance on cybersecurity and AI-driven solutions.
  • Solution Design: Architect end-to-end security solutions tailored to customer needs, leveraging products/solutions in endpoint security, network security, cloud security, and datacenter security.
  • Security Strategy: Develop and communicate security strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring the integration of innovative technologies to mitigate risks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering and product management, to ensure seamless delivery of security solutions.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay at the forefront of cybersecurity trends, particularly in AI, cloud security, and XDR technologies, sharing insights both internally and with clients.
  • Pre-Sales Support: Provide technical leadership during the sales process, including solution demos, presentations, and RFP responses.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in cybersecurity architecture and implementation, with expertise in AI-driven security solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco’s Security Portfolio, Palo Alto Networks’ Portfolio, and other industry-leading security platforms.
  • Knowledge of next-generation security solutions, such as Multi-Cloud Defense, Hypershield, and AI Defense
  • Understanding of Security Operations Centers, including SIEM solutions, SOAR solutions, and incident response
  • In-depth understanding of cloud security, network security, and enterprise security infrastructure.
  • Experience leading customer-facing engagements, from discovery and solution design to implementation and post-sales support.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Industry certifications such as Cisco CCIE, CISSP, CCSP, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), or equivalent are a plus.
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on solution architecture and customer engagements.
  • Experience with AI security solutions is highly desirable.
